is my firewall stopping voice??

Hi all,
I am having what seems an all too common problem with MSN v 6.1 of no voice. I have absolutely no idea what the probelm is. Voice used to work fine a few weeks ago with all the same people with who it no longer works.
How do I check whether it is my firewall that is causing the problem?

What firewall are you running?
you should simply need to check if MSN has server rights, if you can still transfer files etc then I assume it has. Has it stopped going for everyone or just one or two ppl? Have you changed any settings on the PC or added anything new?
