So M$ makes good products. Fair enough, that might be true. Sometimes. But by bundling in their software with Windows they are attempting to stifle the competition. And that is just wrong. You say that people can choose what they want to use. Maybe that's true for people who have seen what's on offer. But for someone who has just bought a computer, why would they bother going to all the effort looking for another program if there's one already installed? They wouldn't, and thus M$ are attempting to create conditions for their rivals.
I remember back when computers didn't come with as much software installed. Sure, it may be more convenient now, but I never had a problem with it back then. I guess what I'm trying to say is, should we really want to sacrifice economic stability to make things ever so slightly more convenient for ourselves?
