MSN Messenger and Hotmail

I reinstalled messenger 6.1 yesterday on windows xp, everything works fine except for the link that tells you "You have so and so messages". It doesn't take me to hotmail like it used to before. I click on it and nothing happens. Any help?

where does it take you if it does nothing then there is somthing wrong with that MSN messenger exe or maybe you got some weird version

if you got windows xp try and run windows messenger and click on check email.. if that does not work it is to do with windows it self not the programs here are some links that might help ya

remember to uninstall your old MSN messenger and delete the folder


now if that does not work then you must wait for the new MSN messenger 6.2 to come out.. hope I helped a bit
