MSN Messenger with AOL as ISP?

A friend and I both have MSN Messenger 6.2. She has AOL as an ISP provider (I don't). We are able to text message fine. Neither one of us can get audio. I get her webcam images but she doesn't get mine.

Any ideas where we can begin to correct this (if at all possible)?
