Something weird has happened to my messenger. I ran spybot & adaware and every since then, my messenger hasn’t been right. This is what I mean………..it works fine until I hit the send button to send my message. Then after about a 7 second freeze on my messenger screen, it finally shows my message was sent. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling etc. I even tried going back to using the old Windows Messenger. Still the same results. Would any of you have any ideas to what the problem would be? It works fine at home, but here at work it is messed up. Everyone around me has theirs working fine. Makes me believe I deleted a file or something that I shouldn’t have, but still I would think a fresh install would solve that, but it doesn’t






after thinking about this, I have ran adaware & spybot at home and have never had a problem with whackin out the things they find, so...................... it can't be a file I deleted.

The network and all workstations are scanned every night for viruses too

Ok, can you give us some more specifications about your system?

Such as:-

- Do you have any firewall software running?
- System specifications, processor speed, amount of RAM etc.
- Are there any programs running at the time which are (or could be) using a high percentage of CPU time?

thats sorta happening to me ... well sorta ... mine freezes like when someone sends me a message it will say the person is typing then it will stop saying it then like 10 secs later 5 msg's the person wrote all pop up at once
