Cant make my webcam work in MSN

First of all, "Hi" to you all since this is my first message in this forum.
Ok, yesterday I bought a Creative Webcam NX Ultra. I installed it in WinXP easily, tested it, it worked fine...

Now I tried to use it in MSN with a friend. MSN identified it fine and installation within MSN was complete fast. Then I requested to use the Webcam and my friend accepted as planned....

After this, the webcam works on my picture box and I get a message "Connecting to .....(friends name)....". It shows him the picture of the webcam (u know the animation with a random webcam it shows when u start such a thing....like buffering before it starts to view the real thing) and after 1-2 mins it stops and gives a message "MisterX stopped using his webcam" where misterX is my name....and I havent pressed anything to stop it....

My guess is there is something not allowing the picture to reach my friend....and it keeps trying...and after 1-2 mins when it does not succeed, it stops automatically....the thing is I dont know whats wrong....

Is it a network issue? Because I am behind a NAT firewall and should I need to open some ports? I dont know...then again I have recieved picture from other peoples webcams without any problem....

If you can help me plz....

It might be a firewall issue, you need to give more detail, what version of MSN are you using? What operating system you're on? What version of MSN your friend is using?...things like that.

I use WinXP and I got the latest version of MSN, I think 6.2? anyway its the latest because I upgraded it recently.

Today I tried to connect to another friend of mine and it worked fine....so I assume its doesn't have to do with my connection and my firewalls and stuff, but with the other person's PC...

As far as I know he uses WinXP and has formatted recently so maybe it is the Internet firewall WinXP have by themselves....I didnt think that at that time...I will tell him to shut it off and try again. He uses PSTN connection so no NAT and stuff....this must be it...

If you got any other ideas let me know...
