File transfer Problem

Hi everyone.
can anyone help me out with this problem. everytime I try to recieve a file from a friend. MSN keeps sayin FILE TRANSFER FAILED. how can I solve this problem.

What OS and MSN Version are you using? Are you running any addons? Do you have any firewalls installed? Are you on a Network or a direct internet connection?
