msn and netscape

is there any way possible to get MSN messenger working on netscape. I have netscape 7.02 and MSN 6.2. when I try to sign in I get the 0x81000370 error which is mentioned in a lot of other topics. I have tried many of the listed solutions without success. I was wondering whether the problem is because I am using netscape and if using internet explorer would fix this. If this the case how can I set it so that I can have use both browsers. at the moment I have internet explorer but cannot get it working (websites simply dont load), and I don't want to remove netscape just have it so that some users can use it while others can use IE.
