Yeah, but that is probably nothing more than an automated response. It is one of the email templates that MS sends to you several hours after you wrote a bug report.

i can understand you being irate because I have a crazy issue of my own happening right now, AND I have the same issue as you but with another address, seems every address I have gets 'ruined' eventually

it seems my issue has been resolved. after countless messages with MSN support http://messenger.msn.com/Help/ and countless messages with HOTMAIL support http://www.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/support .. no idea what was the problem .. but I don't care no more. the issue is resolved. just bug the living hell out of them if you have the same problem as I did. I guess that's the only way.

I had the same problem for about a month and a half. I just installed new Windows updates for XP Pro today (12/15) along with the cumulitive security patch for Outlook Express and now MSN Messenger reports e-mails in my hotmail inbox perfectly. Seems as though Microsoft fixed the problem.
