Problem with messages not being received

Recently I've been having some trouble with MSN messenger. When I send a message to someone, I get a reply. But when I send another message back, I get no response. Sometimes the person will message me asking where I went, so obviously they're not getting any of the messages I send after the first one. Anyone know what the problem might be?

I have the problem too. Sometimes I find just restarting MSN Messenger works, however that only works on a few occasions, which suggests to me that it isn't actually the solution.

I'm not sure if there is a fix for this, perhaps it's something to do with the servers being busy? I'm not sure. All I do know is it's very irritating when it happens.
