msn messenger (sign in as ) option

Hi ,

I use MSN messenger in my windows xp pro.

Earlier when I used to right click on MSN messenger icon I used to get sign in , open messenger . exit.

Now some did something and I also get Sign in As <my email id> . And when I sign in through that I get error incorrect password.

How do I get rid of that sign in <my email id> option. I just wanna sign in like I used to do earlier and thats it. I dont want the sign in <my email> option to be displayed.

Any help

Thanks,
JG

hey jackgreat,

If you'd like to get rid of the "Sign In As...", please use the following procedure:

Quote:
quote:Q: A few people have signed into MSN Messenger from my computer. How do I remove their email addresses from the sign-in list?
A: Go to 'Control Panel' and choose for 'Users'. Click on your Windows XP username and then go to 'Manage my network passwords'. Here you can simply delete the MSN login history.
Remove all the addresses plus the Passport.Net\* (Passport).

And in the future, [u]do not[/b] click "Sign Me In Automatically" when you go to enter your email and password.

As for removing the "My E-mail Inbox", there is no solution, atleast which i'm aware of.

Good luck!
