error 1603 fix

Here is what I did:

1) Click "Start" and then click "Run"
2) Type(no quotes) "regsvr32 rtcdll.dll" and press enter
3) You should get a message box that the registration was successful.
4) Install MSN Messenger 6.0

It worked like a charm for me. I'm using Windows XP (Home edition)
