Windows Media Player 9 Series Beta

microsoft just released Windows Media Player 9 Series Beta and they say
Quote:
quote: If you install the beta version of Windows Media Player 9 Series, it will replace your current version of the player. This software is for advanced users who are comfortable testing pre-release software. If you are unsure of whether this accurately describes you, Microsoft recommends that you do not download this software.
and not to mention that it is only for WIN XP only!

Ok sweetheart.
But a download link would come in very handy.
As well - the beta version is also available for Win98SE, Win 2000 n' Win ME. Not just WinXP. (winxp nerds can't feel special 24/7... the others need a chance.)

Download the new beta Windows Media Player here.

Shame on you sweetheart. I must punish you. I'm sleeping on the couch tonight. Your bed has cooties.

Version 8? I don't see why not.

OK you're confuddling me.

Win98 n' Win98SE are two different things. Right? Yes. Right.

ALL versions of Windowz can download WMP 8 to my knowledge. I don't see why not.
Only the beta version of the new WMP 9 is for Win98SE n' up. I suppose that when v9 is finalized it will be optimized for only Win98SE n' up as well - It's pretty obvious Micro$oft wants to rid of the older OS's altogether. It's like product-bribe - "You use that old system n' we won't give you software".

Win95 n' 98 users may run into problems on the finalized WMP v9.
