Kazaa Derivatives Offer RIAA-Blocking Features
I thought this Neowin article was excellent, and also helps clear up some confusion over the differences between Kazaa Lite and Kazaa K++, that had been previously discussed on this forum. It seems that although the two authors once worked together, they have split up and have released different versions (with the same version numbers). Both are bundled with different features and apparently contain slightly different code bases.

OOPS!!! Did I say that!!! Music is playing... can you hear it "What I've felt, what I've known. Sick and tired, I stand alone. Could you be there? 'cause I'm the one who waits for you. Or are you unforgiven, too?" - Unforgiven II by Metallica |

While the RIAA continue to change tactics and IP address will the kazaa derivatives offer to keep us up-to-date?
I guess it gets down to.. if you want to be a thief then you best protect your own ass n not depend on others. You may do this by using Filetopia from www.filetopia.com uploads n downloads are encrypted thru a private P2P network, what the RIAA dont see they dont know. However I DO NOT support the theft of copyright material. ![]() Web Fairy |
