Which Kazaa Lite is best?

I don't really see the reason in seperating K++ and Kazaa lite, so im just going to act as if they are the same thing.

I found that 2.4.3 is best of all kazaa versions.

2.4.4 is crammed with crap, the interface is all messed up, and the features dont work well. For the crap, almost all the new tools suck, the options are pointless, and the navigation is very confusing. For the interface on 2.4.4, everything is overlapping and the new menu's suck. Some programmer took 2.4.3 and adjusted the links and such to advertise his site and brag. I found that these new features like [u]auto[/b]-search more just make you hit some sort of search limit, and after it searches a million times, you cant search for anything else, and must close the program and reconnect to be able to get results again. The stupid new built in accelerator actually didn't do anything but slow down my surfing speed while kazaa was downloading files. It's just a bandwith eater thats supposed to increase downloads speeds but doesn't.

(thanks hyperbyte, your presence convinced me to check my paragraph for spelling errors and I found over 7 =)

2.6 is downright the worst file sharing program I have EVER used. Some newbie programmer tried to change the entire program and cram in every option and tool he could find that existed. Most of the tools dont work, the interface is so bad that I couldn't stand using it, and it crashed continously.

Kazaa Ressurection is also the same thing as 2.4.4, except the guy tried to modify the interface also, and almost made it as bad as 2.6

The only good Kazaa Lite versions are the ones created by the original programmers, as they actually knew what they were doing.

The best KaZaA version in my opinion: eMule.

Bah, emule probably functions more diffrently than any other P2P software when compared to Kazaa. It personally think it sucks, regardless of its selection. You have to wait 2+ hours for a download to get enough resources to start, and once it does, you get lucky if it goes over 10kbps. I'm on 1.3mb down and it took 5 days to download Civilization II off of emule.

Sure, eMule requires patience. But the quality of the files is superb. I have yet to find an MP3 file on KaZaA that doesn't suck when you play it loud.

I have to admit that if you start a download on Emule late at night, for example around midnight, it takes no time at all for a download to start, and it has a solid speed. I was downloading the neo and matrix movie scene and it took only about a minute to find enough sources to start and was going around 30kbps.

I thought it was illegal to distribute copyrighted music on peer-to-peer networks such as KaZaA?
