anyone here sing in a choir? or used to?

Well, has anyone here ever participated in a choir? If so, what voice type are (were) you?

Well, I was a bass in my high school choir class. The teacher always complained that I sang out of tune (he's very good at catching lip-synchers), but I still got an A for the last semester.

Mmh well I was when I was about 12ish, but then I was pulled to church by my parents by the ear every sunday, rain or shine! Well, after a while, I decided to join the choir, not because I could sing, but I rather liked a boy that was in choir, and it meant I could sit next to him, and of course share the hymn book. Well he moved away, so I finished my career in the choir! Sooooooooo, I was in the choir but really for all the wrong reasons.

I am in my church choir, and we recently went to the Bahamas. It is a high school choir, grades 9-12. I sing bass (rather badly I might add). Anybody else?

We had to do choir in primary school. It was only an hour a week but i hated it. Now i know it was probably a good experience but i would never choose to do it.

I think i was on the alto side. Cause I was one of the taller guys i got to sit on the bench at the back with the rest of the back row. That was the only reason I was alto. No benches on saprono side.

Well, I used to be in Choir/Chorus in my school ever since the 4th grade, to the end of 7th Grade. So that *counts on fingers* is 4 years. I stopped by the end of 7th Grade, because I was asked to join the Studio in Art course for 8th grade. And choir/chorus just seemed to get boring for me, so I quit and did Studio in Art instead... Oh yeah, I was an Alto; which I guess means Bass?
