Profile Languages: Change?

Here's the situation:

Philip, a BBB member, was visiting my myspace profile. The first time he visited it, it was all in Spanish...For some odd reason. But my whole profile is in English... ?

The second time he visited it, he said most of the profile was in English, but some parts of the page were still in Spanish. He is from a non-US country (Malaysia)...Do you think that myspace tried to automatically translate my page into another language, for some reason, because Philip is from a non-US country?

I have no solid explanation as to why the page would be in Spanish...I typed it all in English...

Does anyone have an explanation as to why my profile would do this? Anyone else have a similar experience happen to them and their profile/someone else's profile?

Have him get a screencap next time? What browser was he using, and what User-Agent was it sending?

I'm using Internet Explorer 7 (version 7.0.6001.18000) and this is my User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; .NET CLR 3.0.04506)

OK because it's my nature to try and break things and replicate problems - I've done it. I have successfully clicked on MySpace Latino at the very bottom of the page - and then it will ONLY show as Philip's picture shows.

That's until I click on either MySpace USA, or MySpace International (and choose EEUU(United States)) to get it back to only english. Philip - scroll to the very bottom and choose whichever shows for you and see if that will fix the problem for you.

Doris, I clicked on Andrew's name in my blog, and that's where it took me, to the Latino site. But thanks for the tip!

Weird, I click on the link in his signature and it takes me to the American Myspace page.

P.S. Like watching lightning storms, eh? Ever seen sprite lightning from far away storms on the horizon?

Andrew, I clicked on MrOats > Visit MrOats homepage (in your post #1) and the window that opens says "Invalid Friend ID. This user has either cancelled their membership, or their account has been deleted." But your NEW MySpace link in your signature works fine.

I don't know, I give up. This has put me off MySpace for good.

Oh...Sorry Philip!

I deleted my old myspace a while ago...and I never changed it in my profile!

I Still don't really know why it changes some language though...Guess it'll always be a mystery? It -may- have something to do with my last name being "of spanish/mexican decent" but, still, I'm not certain.
