AVG Free Edition and
avast! Home Edition are both great
free virus scanners, you may want to install/use one of them as your primary virus scanning tool.
as far as i know there is no "removal tool" for "Mugly", but there are so many variants, i really haven't spent lots of time looking for one.

hopefully these "tips" will help you remove "Worm Mugly" from your computer.
check that your hosts file isn't "infected" with lots of "junk" before you visit any "security sites". on windows xp/me the hosts file can be seen by typing this inside the run box (start>>run, windows key+r) "notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts". the only line that "needs" to be in there is "127.0.0.1 localhost".
make sure you keep your windows up to date by visiting
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com often, or by enabling automatic windows updates (right click on my computer(on the desktop)>>properties>>automatic updates, make sure the automatic radio button is selected).
