What's the deal with the dots?

I thought the old OSI icons were pretty cool, but now they are all little dots. They look bad IMHO. You can't even tell what messenger they are for.

I removed them from my signature, and many others have as well...

I agree. I had to remove them because they were useless. You had to think for atleast 5 minutes to guess what messenger they are for.

I know you have put the old set to be downloaded on YOUR forum. But people wont like using their own servers to host the icons and then put their OSI in here.

These were made by Shifter, he says you can use these as well.

It appears my OSI icon set has a few fans.

http://zonehosting.net:8080/ is using them as there default icons, and Tony's http://forum.onlinestatus.org/ has adopted them as there default indicators as well (in the forum) for the time being.
