Anyone checked out Meebo?
Meebo is a new web-based instant messenger that supports AIM, ICQ, MSN and Yahoo. They had their public launch yesterday, and while it's still in alpha stage, it looks and feels pretty good. Check out my initial impressions, then see Meebo for yourself.
I'm curious to hear how you think Meebo stacks up against other web-based instant messengers. |

For an alpha version, it was pretty good. Hopefully the newer ones will have more features, tho.

They added new features (I think) and also the ability to access Jabber/GTalk.

Yes, yesterday they added a Google Talk/Jabber interface, fixes for the MSN Messenger bug and emoticons. They move pretty quick!

"A couple Stanford grads have..." Might I remind everyone where the Google boys graduated from.. I expect nothing less, this is however, quite impressive. I've never seen a web-based messenger with such an attractive and function graphical interface... not to mention the low latency. I'd like to see where this is going.

I used it, very nice! Excellent graphics, and MOVABLE WINDOWS! Lol, it was very nice, and I used it on dialup, I must say, dialup friendly, but that cannot compare with my cable modem now .

Oh' great  I like the interface. What a web messanger this is
I'm on ''rusty'' dialup and it worked very well.

Wow just used it as I am at work. Yahoo web messenger hardly ever works for me, so this is great!!!
