Hi markoo. I've searched the site for info on this, and came up blank; but wanted to say, "Hi." Keep checking back here tho, you never know when the answer will pop up.

*and by the way - keep up the good work with your posting! Your ideas are very helpful.*

Hi Markoo:

QQ is available here, and in English. FYI it is a website in South Africa, not China.

Let us know how you get along, and thanks for bringing this IM program to our attention.

For QQ in China for all us English speakers, the best way to go is with TM2008. You can get it here:

http ://im.qq.com/intl/en/tm/2008/

I have been using it for a month or so, and it seems to be working fine. I have IM'd several Chinese QQ users with no problems (other than language). TM 2008 also has a button link which opens your QQmail webpage and signs you in (this saves time).

If you get it and want to test it, just add me (QQ 352969890), and I will be happy to test out some of the functions with any new users.

H.

Hi, I'm a QQ user from China, nearly used all the versions of QQ.

Don't download the QQ South African Version, which is a separate IM from what used in China. Namely, QQ South African cannot talk to QQ China.

QQ South African has a very small number of users, and the software is based on QQ2003 in China, which very very old, whose functions are too limited also.

It's better to try TM2008, which mentioned in Hansuke's comment.

Yes, u can download-free and free use it.
If you have any question, u can send me a mail.
u can add me (TM 25657692).
There is no difference between QQ and TM soft. There is no ad in TM so it can be used in office. If u use im in home u can logon QQ use the TM #. But there are too ads in QQ. I don't like to use QQ.
