I've been trying to reply all day Sarah [having a day off work] but there is a serious handicap in that this is quite a long-winded game and everytime I get a decent score [nothing that would threaten the mighty Sarah, of course] when I go to submit my score I find I have been logged out of the site.

I'm flattered that you dedicated your high score to me and I would really like to reply in kind [I was within 250,000 of you at one point, tho no-one will believe me] but how many days of my life am I supposed to spend hoping that this time it hasn't logged me out?

Is there anything at all I can do to stop it happening?

As you have found sometimes it does not let you submit your score. When I questioned it, Jeff suggested that when you log into arcade you click the 'remember me' button. I have also found that when playing, if I am in messenger if someone sends me a link and I click it bringing up another web page, then I cannot submit my score.

Also as Nessa suggested on this issue, always make sure your score is finished adding up to final total, before you click to submit your score.

I hope you have better luck next time and well done for the scores you managed to get, even if it would not let you submit

Odd to read the whole procession of queries reflecting my own, guess that's always a problem with an evolving site population because nobody who joins is going to have the time to read every thread to make sure they arn't repeating something that has been said or asked before.

Like Eagle Kiwi says on the link it retained my PHS but that is all.


Now I'm going to try ticking "remember me" and playing for less than an hour to see if that works.

A quick note added later: i tried all that, ticking the box and making sure I register some activity on the forums before begining a new game but it still logged me out [didn't time it, tho. I don't see the point in that].

I give up, you can keep your jewels!!!!!! LOL
