Try reverting to the version of skype you were using before this problem starts. If that solves the problem you can then upgrade directly to the latest version of skype, maybe the problem is with that version of skype.

Yeah, like remember the first time we tried to record the podcast and my Skype just died? Same thing happened. Well, it went to connecting then back to sign in, finally I think I just ended up making sure I could still sign in through the site, then I restarted my computer, and Skype worked. Also, Kudo's suggestion would work. Could be a bug for you in 2.5 assuming that is what you upgraded to.

This also happened to me yesterday after i updated my Skype and i have no idea how to fix it. I have reinstalled skype, turned off all my firewall options and still no joy! It says i cannot connect and that i could be behind a firewall. How would i return to the version of skype i was using yesterday?
Any ideas would be very much appreciated, Sally. |
