I have two but was not sure what they are called.
Chatting to Jeff at the moment, and as he has been to my house and used mine, I asked him what my comp was. He never saw my laptop as I have just got it but I did ask if it was called anything different as it is wide screen and the the screen is shiny, all he could do was giggle at me
"Take my advise and never drink water...I've seen what it does to the bottom of boats".

Yep, that's it. Thanks.
It's pretty bad over here *looks at huge CRT monitor in disgust*... =/
...Am I the only one with a CRT at home?

Aw, don't worry, Andrew. I used CRT for over 10 years, until I switched to TFT last year. Or you could perhaps drop your folks a hint about your next birthday present?

CRT is the technology that everyone had before the pretty-looking flat-panels and stuffs. (I actually still use one).
Also, for those who don't know the difference: I am extremely disappointed in you. You no longer have a place here at BBB. Bye.
...just kidding.

I was too lazy to look up the difference! *goes off to banished place*
I told my psychiatrist that everyone hates me. He said I was being ridiculous - everyone hasn't met me yet.

I've got a 19" Dell LCD I bought used from a friend. You can turn it 90 degrees to change the orientiation from landscape to portrait automatically, but I've never really used that.
I love it, but I wish I had two!

Hey, CRT monitors are dinosaurs nowadays.
What technology will be waiting us after TFT?
