Addition to Forum Policies

In the Forum Policies, it says this:
Quote:
quote:Keep your signatures to no more than three or four lines.
I think another statement should be added, It should be: Keep your signatures to no more than three or four lines, or six lines using size one font.
Sorry if this was just a really stupid suggestion, but I am home sick, and I did't have much to do, and I think that it would allow people to have more information in their profile without taking up more space.

eh, you have a point, but how much information do you really need to display in your signature? you can have all sorts of information in your profile, but your signature doesnt have to be your life story or anything, maybe just a catchy phrase or something. so i guess i'm sayin on one hand i see what you mean, but on the other i dont really think its necessary.

if nothing else, add a couple of words in your signature telling people to check your profile out. also, thats what AIM profiles are for, or subprofiles, or whatever you choose to do along those lines. i decided the aim profile didnt give enough space for whatever was on my mind at the moment, so i started a webpage.

As I was going down the stair, I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today; I wish I wish he'd go away.

rustedtight is an unknown quantity at this point
What is in the forum Policy has been decided on after much deliberation. As it is is how it will remain for the time being, thank you for your input, it will be considered in due course.

Yeah, if you want it to change, why not state why six lines are better? What would you do with the extra two lines? Seriously? Provide a few examples and if the reason is compelling, I'd consider it.
