Well I think its about time that this Message Board includes a forum for VoIP or Internet Telephone Service. Lets face it... This is a form of instant messanging in that its conversation over your computer done in real time! To not include a forum would be a shame to the phrase 'Everything about instant messenging'. There are not alot of forums out there that go into VoIP unless they are the OFFICIAL forum for that particular service. Lets set the standards for what should be covered as far as online conversations are concerned. Lets raise the bar a notch because its not going to be the next big thing - It already IS the next big thing! Cell phone companies HATE it - ISPs are trying to get their hands into it - Customers are reaping the benifits of it. We need to keep a well established resource for our members, guests, and lurkers to talk freely about VoIP.

But for now I feel a section on 'Everything about VoIP' will suffice until there is enough postings to seperate all this out. Lets not forget the hardware side of VoIP because if AIM and other Instant Messengers can be handled by cell phone, PDA, Laptop, etc, than VoIP can also include such things as SIP routers, SIP phones, and the likes.
