I have 1.0. Yes, it has other features, just not anything I find useful. For some reason I don't want to get a plugin so I can play tic-tac-toe on Trillian...

There are many other plug-ins that are useful, lets say you use a lot of chats, SPAM Challenger is great.

Well, the Pro version costs, what, $20-30? I got it just because I believe .74 is worth that much. If you are into skinning, it is useful, and I guess the Spam plugin mentioned above would be good if you receive spam over IM (I never have, despite making all of my messenger id's public).

Actually... all of them.
If a 'service' is stable and reliable alone then it is stable and reliable via Trillian (both free and Pro), if however a 'service' is erratic and unstable alone (such as Yahoo) then it will remain so with Trillian.
Trillian cannot provide stability where none existed in the original application.
Trillian simply is the conduit that provides simultaneous interoperable connection to applications that do not themselves provide interoperability, if a service is normaly unreliable then it will remain so while using Trillian.
