Changing Info

I am new to trillian and I want to know how to change my info because I had aim and never uninstalled it I got one of my AIM sns on AIM and checked my info for the sn I was using for trillian which was also an aim sn and I had the same pro but I want to change it I want to know if the only way I can edit my pro is by going back and forth to aim

to edit your aim profile, just click the aim connection icon on the trillian window, then go to "Personal Options > Edit profile"

be aware that to change font colors/sizes/etc, you'll need to use html code since those options are not directly editable

it depends on the skin you're using, but usually its at the bottom of the trillian buddy list. there's usually the five icons, one for each messenger it connects to. should be the first icon shown, and will probably look like the aim running guy or a yellow dot at the very least. its not that difficult to find.

i c it now I didn't know b4 about the yellow ball but I was wondering now if there was a way to add buddy profile things and links that are inserted in text?

if you mean inserting links into your profile, you have to use html code like I mentioned above. for a link, the code is

<a href="http://www.bigblueball.com">Visit BigBlueBall</a> (which produces this: Visit BigBlueBall)

where obviously you replace the bigblueball URL with the link to whatever page you want, and the "visit bigblueball" text with what you want the link to say...

what buddy profile things? you have to be more specific, I dont know what you mean

there is a website called www.buddyprofile.com you can make buddy profiles where its like a link but it doesn't open a web page it stays in the info box and when u click it it goes into extensive things like it has a logging page telling u who has looked aat your profile and a home page and other things like that u can put in about yourself and and then it has a place for links and another place for a geustbook but reminding its not a web page they give u this code I think its html and after u past it into your info in AIM but then once its in there u can copy/paste it in your adress bar and then its a web page.
