Trillian Pro 3 itself will not get a virus or worm, when taking necessary precautions. When it comes to file transfering, you just have to make sure you trust the person and when looking at profiles with suspicious links, don't click on it if you don't know what it is. You can also configure Trillian to automatically scan a file for a virus after download, using your Antivirus software.
