ICQ program with Trillian

i have problem with icq and trillian I got version 3.1
the icq with in trillian, it doesn't tell me who is online, like msn does.

is it bug in trillian?

What exactly do you mean by that? pop up notification or contacts not showing up online on your contact list,sorry but I did not understand your problem more details and I will be able to help you.

If that is the case you may want to enable pop up notification for all your accounts by clicking right on your Trillian system tray icon options/show Notifications and about your ICQ not showing online maybe you need their authorization first or they might be invisible.

Yeah, my ICQ contacts show up in Trillian just fine, but via pop-up notification and in the contact list.

Well now Trillian is having some problem with ICQ lately so you won't be able to test it if you ecounter this problem.

Yeah, now I'm unable to connect to ICQ. I get "*** Error logging into ICQ: Unknown code 28." Thank God for the Trillian status window!

It's been working fine up until just this afternoon, so I suspect it's just a momentary hiccup in the system.

Cerulean Studios has released a patch for the ICQ plugin that fixes the connectivty problems.

Does anyone have the link for the update.. somehow when I hit check for updates, its not going through.

To fix the "Unknown Code 28" ICQ connection problem for Trillian v3.x, please load the program and choose Help->Check for Updates. Check the box to update AIM & ICQ and then proceed with the update.
