How do I configure gmail gotmail plugin to work? I am using Tp3.1 pro.

Go to the Plugins section in Trillian Preferences and click on the Gmail plugin. Then click Configure.

Here's a screenshot using the older style preferences window (you may be using the newer one): Screenshot of Gmail Trillian Plugin

I do have the new version,but I don't get any notifications after adding my account.How do I need to setup my acccount under, "add account".Do I need to add google mail as a pop3?

Trillian basic does not support the use of plugins.
