New to Trillian - Sending IMs (AIM) without adding contact?

Hey everyone, I am new to Trillian and I cant seem to find out how to send a new IM without adding the contact on AIM plugin. Usually in Aim, you just replace the screen name with anything or cntrl-N to have a new blank IM window. I cant seem to find out how to do this in trillian, if possible.

It's been a while since I've used Trillian, but it's something like..

Click on your AIM icon at the bottom of the buddy list window to bring up the menu, select your connection if you have more than one, and then there should be a menu option for something like "Send message to...". You'll get a little dialog to key in the name, and it'll open a new message window with that person.
