I just installed the latest build of Trillian Astra (you knew it was in beta testing, didn't you?). I've got some screen shots I put in an album for your viewing pleasure. I have five invites to the beta program...

Jeff, I've installed Trillian Astra 4.0 Build 103, and I am amazed at the amount of eye-candy on offer. Although it's still a Beta, most things seem to be working well; it hasn't crashed at all and is surprisingly light on CPU resources (approximately 4MB even though I have it on all the time).

It does have a very rich feature list I'll give it that! I tried it - and decided it wasn't for me - but it did function well, no problems, no issues.

I was annoyed that there didn't seem to be any opt-out for the desktop Weather (at least not on mine there wasn't). Sure you can uninstall it afterwards, but I could not find a way to NOT install it in the first place.

Good point patndoris. There are two "adware" programs that the Trillian Astra installer will "invite" you to install: A weather app and the Ask.com toolbar. You can opt out of both of them during installation, so be sure you read the options carefully.

I hate those things! I realize that Trillian is ad-free, but really don't appreciate the so-called "helpful" extras they push.
