Recieved the following question about a problem recording audio using Yahoo's video email feature:
My first suspicion would be that another application is using the microphone. Check to make sure you don't have another program running (like the Intel software you referred to).quote:This is a delightful feature. I sent 2 videos and everything worked properly. However, today's attempt to record a video was not completely successful as it would not record audio. The audio works when I record the video with Intel software and attach via Yahoo mail. Do you know what the problem is?
Another thing to check is that the microphone is actually switched on through the volume controls of your sound card. To check this, right click the speaker icon in your system tray and select "open volume controls." Make sure the microphone is not muted and that the volume is set appropriately. It make take some trial-and-error to get the settings just right.
