This may be an incredibly dumb question, but here goes: if I am using the webcam specifically for use in a chat room of another internet site, can people contacting me through MSN messenger see the same images at the same time? Thanks

No, when you're using your webcam in a specific chat room, your MSN contacts will not see your webcam images (unless you've allowed them to).
