BigBlueBall Newsletter Archive
Jeff Hester ![]()
Well, now that were back on track with a bi-weekly publication schedule, its time to open up the newsletter archives. As I was putting it together it was interesting to see the evolution over the past few years. Ive also started to more agressively prune the newsletter mailing list. Over time, some people let their email addresses go idle, or they switch ISPs. As those accounts are closed, the addresses are eliminated from the list. Unfortunately, I still get a large number of bounces from full inboxes. Im betting that most of these are also free accounts on Hotmail or Yahoo, and most likely arent being actively used anymore. So my policy now, if your inbox is full, your email gets removed from the mailing list. If youre not receiving our newsletter, it means that you havent subscribed or that your name was removed for one of the reasons described above. If youd like to sign-up, you do so at any time... its free! Sign up here. |
