The BigBlueBall Newsletter has been around for a couple of years, but I’ll be the first to admit that it hasn’t been very regular.

Well, now that we’re back on track with a bi-weekly publication schedule, it’s time to open up the newsletter archives. As I was putting it together it was interesting to see the evolution over the past few years.

I’ve also started to more agressively prune the newsletter mailing list. Over time, some people let their email addresses go idle, or they switch ISPs. As those accounts are closed, the addresses are eliminated from the list.

Unfortunately, I still get a large number of bounces from full inboxes. I’m betting that most of these are also free accounts on Hotmail or Yahoo, and most likely aren’t being actively used anymore. So my policy now, if your inbox is full, your email gets removed from the mailing list.
