Having Fun While Out of the Office

Nancy Franklin is a working mom with a website you might like. We’ve all seen these "Out of Office" email replies you get when you try to email someone who’s otherwise away. Well Franklin has taken the mundane and turned it into a humorous form of stress relief. For example: "Some very nice men in white coats came and said they wanted to show me my new padded office."

There are dozens of fun messages, many tailored to specific occasions like meetings, vacations, training and special holiday messages. With Labor Day coming up next week here in the U.S., you might consider "There’s something ironic about celebrating the “worker” by indulging in activities normally associated with the unemployed, like bumming at the beach, sleeping in and swilling refreshing beverages. But I know an opportunity when I see one, so I’m outta here until ____________."
