534 Text messages

My phone company sent me a bill for 53.40$, saying I sent 534 Text messages and recieved none. I think you can figure out yourself that thats total BS. They said I did this for about 3 days straight. rofl

Others might have the problem, its with that damn new AOL messenger on cingular phones. You sign on, and if you turn off your phone without signing off it keeps you online even thought your phone says your now offline. You can't get it to sign off unless you wait a few days. I'm guessing it was charging me for messages sent on my computer when it was stuck on.

Did you get stuck with the bill? I think that is ridiculous. I tried to sign into AIM on a friend’s phone a few weeks ago. It said it wouldn't connect, so we thought you needed some sort of plan to use it. When I went home I noticed a Mobile Device group where all my contacts (24) were added to it on the AIM client on my computer. This freaks me a bit.

Apparently the "most" they can drop the charge is by half, So I only had to pay about 20$

AOL made a Windows AIM client ........ It sucked, and still does.
AOL made a Linux AIM client ............ It sucked, and development seemed to stop.
Now AOL made a Java AIM client........ It sucks

Seeing a pattern?

Anyway guys, I use AOL as my ISP, with AOL 9.0 Optimized, because theres nothing faster and better than AOL.

HAHA, yeah, right! (I have Broadband)

Does your keyboard always have CAPS LOCK on, Ys8er? Dang....

Anyways, maybe it's just your provider. I signed onto AIM on my old phone, then I turned off my phone. The provider didn't charge me anything.
