MsgPlus! BETA - Soon compatible with v7.

Just for those who didn't already know:

On October 31st, Patchou has announced that he will next week release a BETA version of MsgPlus! which will be compatible with the BETA versions of MSN Messenger 7.

Quotation below from Patchou:

Quote:
quote:This beta version WILL be compatible with Messenger 7, at least, to some extent. I don't like releasing beta versions but Messenger 7 being in beta itself, I don't think it it will annoy anyone to have two half-finished products running at the same time.
Quote:
quote:I can't guarantee the date of the release though: if some of the important current bugs can't be fixed by Tuesday, you'll have to wait a little longer
I must say, I have just downloaded and installed the MSN Messenger 7 BETA version, and i'm already missing Plus! So this is a bit of good news.

MESSENGER Plus, not MSN Plus

And this release has been long anticipated!

Lol, i'll keep that in mind for next time Det.

Out of intrigue, what is the difference between Messenger Plus and MSN Plus? I hear they're two different programs, but aside from that, i'm in the dark. Someone enlighten me.

Nono... not "messenger plus".. "Messenger Plus!". And there IS a difference

MSN Plus = a service from Microsoft. It's not a program.

Messenger Plus = AIM Add-on.

Messenger Plus! = MSN Messenger add-on by Patchou.

Fair enough. I didn't know there was a Messenger Plus AIM add-on. *Thinks* Must have the exclamation mark...
