msn 7.0.0425 and get 80072eff error & no prob with 6.2
installed msn 7.0.0425 and get 80072eff error "unable to sign you on to .net messenger service"
am running zonealarm, and made sure that msn was allowed all-access...restarted, turned off zone alarm, and still same problem. when I rolled back to msn 6.2 the problem dissapears. anybody got soltuons--I see someone else had this prob too, but don't see any solutions that work for me. and I don't see a "server" key in my registry either (running Win xpsp2) no problems with any other connectivity including hotmail, and the internet. Help! |

Hi hot_candy,
Maybe you can find a solution in this article. If not and nobody else has a solution for you waiting for the final version of MSN Messenger 7.0 might be the best thing to do ![]() Greetings, Sjoerd |

soltuion found
kept messing around till I found the answer to my problem--posting it for everyone's benefit:
click tools/options and connection under "advanced settings" take out anything that is already there as an entry for HTTP Proxy. It should be blank. Test your connection now...all should be good! yah. msn 7.0 is way better than 6.2. finally you can login invisibly for one. |
