MSN Messenger ICQ typing sound

I have to use MSN MEssenger because of it's webcam features, but I would like to figure out a way to make it make the typing sounds like ICQ and Messenger3 make. can someone help me PLEASE!

Look for the Wav file in ICQ that you want to replace the one in MSN with and rename it to type and copy it to your MSN directory, notice that this will overwrite the one you have in MSN so I will suggest to make a back up of the one you will be replacing.Good Luck!!

AM I understanding you correctly here? you want it to make the clacking sound with each letter you type as you actually type it? Because I don't think that is possible with MSN mess. What Kudo suggested will only make that clack sound each time an IM is recieved and you don't have the window as main focus.

yes, thanks for your help Kudo, but Ice is right; that'll just makle the sound when I SEND the message.

Ice, you are correct. I want the typewriter sound with each letter I type, and a different sound for backspace, like ICQ does.

Well you are welcome anyway,but I don't use MSN messenger well I do thru Trillian and I don't know if you have this sound in MSN if so there must be a wav file that you can change if not...
