Service Temporarily Unavailable Error 81000314 - only with a certain MSN account

I have three MSN accounts which I use. For some reason, when trying to sign into one of them today, I keep getting the 'Signing into Messenger failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. 81000314' message. However, I can still sign into my other two accounts fine. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I was able to sign into this account earlier today, however I did install aMSN and use this account to sign in on that before... it seems to have stopped letting me sign in on MSN 7 since then. I don't understand how that could'be affected it though.

I just got this one today...FIRST it told me my contact list was unavailable & it gave me the number. Then I got just the number and to try again later. It's really odd. Maybe because I shut down the computer before closing MSN?

Or maybe because msn is the most unstable im program. Did you try to solve it with the link i gave?

The error has now changed to a 81000378...so that link is not going to help at this point. I don't think MSN knows what the heck error I have! Also, the number of people searching this topic at the moment is telling me that there's a big problem, and it's not just me.

You could still try it cause even though there are several error codes, it's many of them that have a common solution.

There appears to be a problem with MSN's login servers. I'm able to sign in with one of my accounts, but not the other. I expect it that MSN will resolve the issue within a few hours.

I have similar problems with the updated version of msn & messenger. I used to be able to view all my conversations on messenger, but instead I have to view them by going through netscape. Hopefully that still works doing it that way, because it's been a few weeks since I last tried it.
