I saw software to detect "Appear offline" or "blocked"

Hello Everyone,

Last month I visited a web site that provides free software to MSN Messenger user. This software allows us to detect a user who appears "offline" to us when in actual fact he's online.

Can anyone help me or direct me to a site that has this software?

Thank you.

Phil

So effectively you're looking for a block checker?

The last I heard, none of these block checkers actually work anymore...

Hello,

Thanks for replying.

I think the software I mentioned can detect whether the person is really offline or appear offline. It's difficult to find out if we're being blocked or not but it's possible to find out the actual status (offline or appear offline). The software "communicates" with MSN Messenger server and is able to tell pretty accurately whether the concerned user is logon to the server or not.

I should have bookmarked the web site!

Phil

MDX has a feature that notifies you when someone signs in as invisible, but now it doesn't seem to work very efficiently, in fact it doesn't seem to work at all. It used to work well in older versions though.

The road to success is always under construction.

Hello,

So, there's no point downloading and installing MDX anymore? Any other software to detect when someone "appears offline" or "blocked" us?

Take care.

Check this site, there're block checkers on it. But you can use them only on website, downlaoding them and installing them isn't possible.

I like and use mdx. But I wouldn't rely on any program or site that checks if you are blocked. Ms fixed that a long time ago. http://www.mess.be/msnmessengerfaq/i...Messenger.html. Mdx works for me when people sign in as offline. Signing in as offline is different I think. I tested it with a friend and it worked but I don't know how accurate it is or isn't worked though when we tested it.
