wont let me add contacts

hi guys i got this really weird issue with
my msn messenger it wont let me add anymore
contacts it keeps telling me my msn is
too full but ive deleted over 20 contacts
which i dont really chat to anymore
leaving my messenger pretty much empty, ive ogt
other accounts too which i use now and then
and they are letting me add contacts still so
i dont think its the actual msn messenger which
has the problem i got a bad feeling its my account
has anyone ever come across a problem like this
in the past? does anyone know how i can resolve it

p.s ive also tried installing different messengers
but still same issues

How many contacts do you actually have?

There is a plugin for MSN Messenger which allows you to increase the number of contacts, perhaps you've had this installed at some point and now haven't got it?

if you have hotmail .net passport, you must delete contacts also from your hotmail contact list.

Trini is right, go to your hotmail and check your contact lists from there. It's possible that many names have been added to your list while replying to e-mails. You will have to delete a few entries from there as these contacts, even if they arent in your msn list, they count against your total.
