How to get a Invitation to Windows Live Messenger
Hi Everyone,

I just thought I would let everyone know.... how I received my Windows Live Messenger... I went to...http://www.ideas.live.com/ and scrolled down to Windows Live Messenger Beta and signed up... Which consists of giving an e-mail addy and that's it... I received my WLM the very next day...

Hope it works for all of you... Enjoy!!!

Well...this was kind of obvious. I think many already knew about this but for those who didn't know this will be of some help!

Unfortunately though it does not work all the time. I have signed up for other windows live services long ago and have not gotten an invite. I had even signed up for Windows Live Messenger as well and no invite...I had to get it from a friend. Maybe MicroSoft just hates me. *sniff*

I had tried but no response and Pakistan is also not listed there.

That's not a problem, I chose United States. The invitation came to me the following day.

Signing up on Live Ideas and receiving an invite does work, but getting it the next day is kind of a coincidence.

One thing I noted (maybe another coincidence), if you start using WLM you get invited to Live Mail in a few days. Both me and my friend in Germany had similar experiences. Although he was a bit late to receive them.

Atlast it worked for me, I registerd chosing china and they send me the invite other day, an e-mail in chinese but the link is there and I'd downloaded it now
