Wow, ok. You have a lot going on there. First let's scan for malware, then completely remove WLM, and finally reinstall the newest most up to date version.
Please download
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.
- Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
- At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
- If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
- Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
- When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
- Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
- If it wants to reboot to finish cleaning, please do so at that time.
- When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location in case you need it for future reference. You do NOT need to post the results of the log.
Then, I'd suggest downloading
RevoUninstaller so we can try a thorough removal (and you won't have to go searching for files/folders or registry entries). You will use this to uninstall instead of going through add/remove programs. Once you start RevoUninstaller, it will populate a screen with all your programs. Choose your WLM and click uninstall. It will ask for what level you want to look for with regard to files that may be left over. Choose #4. Then go ahead with the uninstall. Revo will first scan for all the files/folders/entries it can find for WLM. The next step is using the built in un-installer to remove it. Afterwards, Revo looks to see if there are any remaining files and folders on your machine. If so you will be given the lists of what remains. Choose Select All and Delete for any files it finds.
After you have finished with RevoUninstaller, please reinstall
WLM and see if it now works.
