Hello and welcome to BBB! Let's start by verifying a couple of things please:

1. What version of WLM are you using?
2. Is this a WLM contact or a Yahoo contact?
3. Does this happen on all new contacts or a single contact only?
4. What operating system are you using XP or Vista?

I understand this is frustrating and I'll do my best to help you try and solve this.

I figured it out on my own just took some time, but thanks for taking the time to respond.

apparently this issue isn't resolved as I tried to add someone else today and again it is having the same issue though the last contact has apparently resolved the issue at hand.

^-

if you understood that at all

First person works now
New one doesn't

Ideas? I have the latest Live Messenger.
Xp
apparently all contacts
WML contact

If you are also having sign in issues (as from your last post) it is possible the two are related. My guess would be the server isn't updating your account properly and that's why the contacts aren't displaying and working properly.

Did this problem start when you upgraded to the current WLM or has it been going on longer? I'm going to take a look over on another newsgroup for some info, but that site is unavailable at the moment - I'm pretty sure I've seen other people with this issue and I'll try to find the solution for you.

Any additional info you can give on when it started, if you've scanned your system for malware and/or removed and viruses lately, any system changes (updates or new programs) anything like that would be most helpful.

It is a known issue in this version of WLM. The only workaround at the moment would be to use your phone or an online site such as Meebo to actually add the contacts.
