Win32 virus - may causing problems for MSN - anyone help?

my mate has a problem. after getting a virus via MSN that was doing the rounds a couple of weeks ago, his MSN has completely screwed up. he thought he got rid of the virus (Win32 trojan downloader) but apparently this one has returned. this may be stopping him accessing MSN because everytime he tries to he just receives a "Windows MSN Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close..." window.

did anyone get this virus, get rid of it successfully and can still access MSN? is this even the problem or is it something else? any solutions? please help, it's driving us both up the wall.

Hi:

Go to this website Free Virus Removal Tools and download the W32 Trojan Downloader removal tool. Unzip it and run. Hopefully this will resolve your problem.
