Hi zillah, it could be a server problem. It's usually pointless and futile to uninstall and reinstall; just wait for an hour or two, and try again.
Also try signing in to Web Messenger and see whether that succeeds.
P/S This problem has also occurred to me in the past. I had to wait till the next day before I was able to sign in.

When you say you can't login....Do you get a failure that allows you to do the troubleshooter? Or does it just sit and spin forever and nothing ever happens?
Philip is correct, it could be a server issue, and likely is. But, I've had cases where my router seems to forget my laptop and I have to re-discover it. In those cases WLM will just sit and think forever and not do a darn thing.
Can you give a little more info on exactly what happens when you try to login?

Please check the date, time and time zone on your computer AND your router to be sure they are correct and that they match.
WLM is extremely picky about the date and time being correct on both. I find sometimes after a power outage my router resets to GMT which is not correct for me, and it can cause this problem.
If that doesn't help please let me know as there are a few other things we can try, but that is the most likely culprit.

I have got other computer (Desktop) at home on the same network, I have got no problem to login to MSN messenger. And I checked the time zone for both PCs Laptop and Desktop they are on the same zone.

Have you looked at the thread on common WLM problems and their solutions?
Do you get an error code if you let WLM continue to try to login? Typically at some point the login will fail and you should get an error code, which would be very helpful in giving you more useful information.

This isn't a common WLM problem because this isn't a common operating system, Windows Server 2003 is not meant to be used as a client platform, doing so is inadvisable and a waste of an expensive software license, unless of course, you stole that...
Anyway, WS03 has more strict security policies, and these are most likely preventing the login. I'd suggest checking the security options for IE, as well as verifying there is nothing in your Security Policy (secpol.msc) that would prevent the login.

Do not you think it is a rude word,,,,what about if it is at work and used for a testing purpose.
