Problems contacting with webcam.

Well today I just bought myself a new Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000 and succesfully installed it on my computer. Unfortunately, each time I try to open my webcam durring a contact with someone, it just says that it had an error like such(send error or Dont send) and shuts down windows live right after. I need some help to figure out this problem.

Hello and welcome to BBB! Webcams can be a bit tricky to get working.

Have you gone to Tools/Audio and Video setup on the WLM main menu and configured your cam to work within WLM? If so, then try Tools/Webcam Settings from the WLM main menu and make sure you can see yourself ok.

There are a few other things that can cause cam problems, but I need to know that WLM is recognizing the cam properly before we investigate other possible causes.

With a little patience we'll get this sorted out. Please let me know if you can configure the cam ok within WLM.
